Knox Keyring
The design of the KNOX keyring allows a lateral push-pull motion in opening the ring, rather than having to pry out with your fingernails. It is possible to open the ring even while wearing gloves. The KNOX has outer 10-sided geometry, while maintaining the smooth circular inner curve. This will help keep the keys moving freely, without getting caught at the angles just like a regular ring.
The design is not meant to replace the original key ring, simply because it could not be produced on a mass scale. But nonetheless, it serves as a proof of concept on how we can improve upon the existing design of an accessory we use everyday.
Eeach keyring is custom wire cut from Grade 5 Titanium one at a time. It is a slow process, but worth it.
